Character Sculpture at Brookgreen Gardens

In June 2026, I had the opportunity to spend five days at Brookgreen Gardens in South Carolina, taking part in a character sculpture workshop led by Jerome Ranft, sculptor at Pixar Animation Studios. Over the course of the workshop, I worked on a sculpture of Jiminy Cricket, exploring character, gesture and expression through traditional sculpting techniques.
